I've read the papers, I've read the home office website and I've listened to the news and now I am coming to a group of blokes who I have not met before to ask advice on Bangkok in November.

Having researched the honeymoon we had settled on Thailand (Hua Hin) and were all ready to book the trip (end of November and early December). With the current goings on I am a little anxious that the situation is highly volotile, I do not wish for November to arrive and find my honeymoon is cancelled due to a civil war kicking off (or in full swing).

Thoughts? Am I being over cautious? Am I right to be over cautious? I know it is hard to predict but any thoughts would be welcome.

My mate is out there now flew there last Saturday. Bangkok airport is a good hour away from the city centre. Don't think there will be mush issue if you are in and out of the airport and on your way.

I am going in November too, I think most of this should have blown over by then, you just want to make sure whoever you are insured with will still cover you.

Cheers guys.

Was not aware the airport was that far away so that is reassuring.

I think our holiday insurance will be checked over in detail and also will ensure any supplier includes coverage in the deal.

Any more thoughts from other peeps?

I am taking the other half and the kid in November,I am not worrying about it as the protesting seems to be well away from the touristy parts.
