Not a whole lot to do in Padstein, sunny or otherwise.

If you're up for a day trip, head for either Flambards (near Helston), Crealy (near St. Columb Major, just down the A39 from Padstow), or Geevor Tin Mine (near Penzance).

Go & buy a cheap tent from Tesco & some deck chairs

Drive to the nearest sandy beach & pitch tent, errect some windbreaks too.

Put deck chairs in tent to Oldies

You & Ed play on beach - building sandcastles is MUCH easier when the sand is wet! Plus it makes it easier to sculpt him a sand racing car!

What's on at the cinema? It looks a lovely old place but I've never been in.

My personal recommendation is to walk out to Stepper Point and get as wet as a very wet thing as that's what always happens to me when I do it. Or walk across the fields to Trevone and smell the brussels sprouts in the wet.
