Honeymoon ideas for October
Discussion
We went to the Hilton on Rangali Island.
It's now branded as a Conrad Hilton
A sea plane journey from main Male airport and there were two islands joined by a bridge, it was absolutley bliss for our two weeks, plently of water sports, a spa with glass floors so you could watch the sea life during a massage for two. Even an underwater restaurant, isolated island meals, beautiful sunsets etc...
Certainly not cheap, but hopefully we will go back one day before it disappears.

Who told you it was a bad time of year to go Tahiti in October, Liam?
I know the boss has to move his yacht out of the Pacific tropical zone by then for insurance purposes, similar to leaving the Caribbean at the end of April.Another safari/beach option is Tanzania - Selous Game Reserve followed by the Mafia Archipelago - we did tree houses on Chole Island then Pole Pole. All amazing places, and if safari's your thing, Tanzania's much less croweded than Kenya - we were out by ourselves in an open sided landy, off all the tracks following loins hunting, without seeing another vehicle all day - you can't do this in Kenya!

We're doing Kuramathi in the Maldives later on this year. Seen quite a lot of good reviews for it so fingers crossed.
Been there - which part are you going to - village, lagoon or the other? It's one of the larger islands - great reef, the point is fantastic for sunsets and sharks etc. Took me several hours to swim around it outside the reef, and 1/2 hour or so to walk point to point.gilla said:
