Best place to look for good last minute deals?

My girlfriend and i are looking for a cheap last minute holiday for next week (leaving on the 19th) and i am really frustrated at looking at crap holiday websites.

I have been on lastminute.com and teletext holidays but i have ended up finding good deals, calling them up to book only for them to add £150 onto the price for baggage and 'fees'.

Does anybody have any good websites or companies to deal with, that will actually give a straight up price?

I have holiday booked off for the whole week, but we don't mind only doing a 3 night holiday in a city, or a beach holiday. We are open to all suggestions out of the UK.

Budget is around £200 - £300 per person.

Any suggestions?
