Hotels in Munich??

Bit of a longshot but what the hell.......

Id like to take the family to Munich in October
We have 2 small kids

Any recs for a family friendly hotel would be spectacularly appreciated
Especially if its anywhere near the Studentenstadt

No help other than avoid the 1st-3rd Oct as that's the end of the beer festival - Oktoberfest - and bloody expensive as I've just found out!
