Am in a bit of a quandry...going to see Muse on Saturday September the 11th at Wembley Stadium, am travelling from Ipswich, Suffolk, was going to do my usual Newbury park/all day ranger tube thing..until I discovered the concert finishes at 11.30pm, which leaves me 1h15m to get to Newbury park before the line shuts short of my destination, i don't think i'm going to be able to make it with the likely hood of packed trains, anybody else managed to do it?

The other option is that I park nearby, but I don't really want to pay £27 for a car park ticket at the stadium.

What are my options??

Help!!

Isn't there an NCP nearby?? We stayed at a hotel in Bethnal Green (IIRC) and it was a royal PITA to get to. The hotels on site seem like a much better deal.

Winner, and you will be going away from London at Wembley tube.

I would park somewhere near Wembley and walk to the gig, you should find somewhere half an hour away. Coming home will be so much easier than queuing for a train.

Radical idea, but why not book a room in one of the local hotels? There are plenty around Wembley and you can then travel home at your leisure the next morning

There's a huge exclusion zone to stop people doing just this.

Book a room in the premier inn.

Pretty sure they have parking and its a pretty massive place so i'm sure they will have rooms, especially this far in advance.

Premier inn is about 15 mins walk from the stadium.

Park at Harrow and take the overground rail to Wembley. I've done it several times and if you park somewhere west of the High Street and walk about 5 mins to the station it's uncontrolled on street parking

Try a google for 'The Green Man', its a pub 5 mins walk from the stadium and they do parking (I think £20 for footy games, probably the same for concerts). Easy to get away afterwards. Can have a couple of normally priced beers before the concert too.

If there are a few of you, then this maybe cost effective, by the time you all buy tube tickets, £20 isn't too bad.
