I am holidaying in Rhodes and need some help with seeing Sunday's GP. We have access to Hotbird 4/5 (or maybe 13) and need some direction as where we might be able to view the race on a free-to-air basis.

We can obviously get commentary off Radio 5 via web so commentary language not important.

Any ideas ?

C'mon fellas help me out.

If you have web access, why don't you use your PC (?) and hook up to BBC iPlayer online and watch live on BBC1 via a UK Proxy?

I think Italian TV, RAI 1 , shows it free to air, or German, RTA. Both should be on Hotbird but it maybe worth checking. I'm sure you will find a bar that is showing it live.

ETA, I very much doubt if the online commentary will sync with the satellite pictures.

Thanks to you both.

Will try both options during qualifying to see what works best.

There should be a similiar delay on both elements and if commentary was a second or two behind the pictures it wouldn't be the end of the world. If the pictures are behind the audio that might be less watchable hehe

Cheers thumbup

Failing the proxy service access I emailed you with, you can try,

TF1 = French
RTBF2 = French (Belgian)
RTL2 = German
RTL7 = Dutch

I think, think, there may also be coverage on DSF (German)
