Hello PH!

I am off to London soon and was wondering if someone can pop me in the right direction where to go and what to do?

We booked Jamie Olivers' restaurant Fifteen the last time we where down and this was fantastic.

Any other places we can go?

Thanks,

Mr T

Natural History Museum
Science Museum

That's more than 1 day occupied, and they're both free!

All we know from your post is that you like a good restaurant. There are plenty of those. What kind of food are you looking for?

What else can you tell us about what you like to do? London is big, and can cater for most if not quite all tastes and interests...

Pop into Brick Lane Beigel Bakery for a salt beef and mustard sandwich. The best tasting and value sandwich I've ever had.

Pont De La Tour http://www.urbanpath.com/london/french/le-pont-de-...
Belgos http://www.belgo-restaurants.co.uk/
Stockpot (cheap and cheerful) http://www.timeout.com/london/restaurants/venue/2:...

Or jump on the tube to Highbury & Islington station on the Victoria Line and have a wonder down Upper Street. Lots of nice bistros and bars to chose from.

And avoid Leicester Sq/Picadilly and Covent Garden it's a tourist trap...the latter has some okay pubs but the former are just woeful.

Well, had food at Fifteen last night and to say I am disappointed is a understatement!

It's completely changed since last time and the food portion would be fit for a baby!

Also, why will you not accept my Scottish notes!
