As per title, having searched through endless websites for a suitable property, I've thus far drawn very few possibilities and nothing that is jumping out at me.

The criteria is not exactly demanding. All I'm after is a nice gite for 2 adults and 1 small, well behaved fully housetrained dog. 1 or 2 bedroom gite sort of thing. Preferably northern France. I'd even consider a cabin or static caravan! Location isn't that important as long as there is a localish village and shop! Pool or use of a pool would be a massive bonus!

The big stipulation is that it MUST have a totally secure garden or area. This seems to be the stumbling block. We need an enclosed or fenced garden for our dog who doesn't do recall when he has new places to explore. I don't want to lose or be looking for a prized family pet in another country.

Lots of places 'accept pets' but very very few seem to be suitably secure let alone geared up specifically for a totally secure dog environment. The dog area/garden doesn't have to be that big, just big enough for him to go about his business without us worrying about him disappearing and or watching him like a hawk all day and night.

Budget is not the issue as long as the price tag reflects the property.

Any ideas, links or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! I'm willing to share info of a stonking little place I have come across and just been to in the UK that is ideal for dogs in exchange!!
