Hi ,

off to Malta { North of the island - Mellieha } for a week

What sort of temps can i expect ? is it still warm enough at night for shorts or is long trouser type weather

Any decent places to eat around there , will have a car and a sober driver so is it worth going through to Valletta or a evening ?

Thanks

Sean

The weather at the end of October was shorts weather when we were in Gozo a few years ago - 30C during day early 20Cs in the evening, so September should be fine.

Worth a trip on the Ferry to Gozo in my opinion, we stayed in Xlendi Bay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ztIqNwJOl4&NR=... which is beautiful and the most relaxing holiday I've ever had, made all the better by being there during a festival. The waiters (at St Patrick's Hotel anyway) in the beachfront bars actually seemed to enjoy their jobs and made it a pleasure to have a relaxing drink there.

I'm looking forward to the day I go back, enjoy you holiday.

Did this many times.
Nice and warm
Get a car up by the church, Manuels garage.
Good guy, good service.
Eat out in St Julians bay. Superb Italian restaurants, take a look.
Expect one or 2 big showers.
