well according to the tinternet sea snakes dont exist in the red sea due to it being too salty. So wtf did i see whilst snorkellin last week? in about 4 feet of water just off the beach in sharm?

looked like a snake, moved like a snake, about 70-80cm long sort of a pale cream colour a little ligher than the sand on the bottom and with numerous brown spots. I am 99.9999999% certain it was not some kind of eel due to prior knowledge. It wasnt my imagination as i pointed it out to the girlfriend who agreed it appeared to be a snake.

what was it?

nope it wasnt one of those, it was too thin for an eel of its size too.
