Hotels in Seattle

Can anybody recommend a nice, decent value, hotel in downtown Seattle? Preferably with a gym/pool.

On a whim I've booked a trip there next month - when I say trip I mean flights, so need to sort the other bits out!

This seems to be a year of trips!

Just beat me to it! The Monaco it is for me too. Used to travel regularly on business to Seattle and this is a really great hotel for location and being slightly more "funky" than the usual chains.

Thanks for the advice - I was going to go with the Hotel 1000, which looks nice. It's only for 1 night, before I can meet friends and stay with them - but I'll check out the Monaco now too.
