Hi All,

I wanted to pick your brains smile

I live in the South of France and have done for about 14 years on and off. This area IMHO has some of the best driving roads, picturesque scenery and great places to eat, relax and party. So I got to thinking could I marry this up to my love of cars?

What I am thinking is to do a couple of tours for 'car' people. In my mind this would be perhaps one week (less? more?) of convoy driving around the best roads in the area (I know most of em wink), a day negotiated with one of the local circuits (probably the Paul Ricard circuit) some top restaurants, some great sightseeing and perhaps a bit of a party too.

I would sort it so that everywhere we went the owners knew we were coming, had a big empty car park and I would have someone come around with us to stay out with the cars to make sure they remain unmolested.

I would organise the whole thing so all someone attending would have to do would be to drive in the right direction and enjoy themselves.

This is just an idea at the moment and any input is much appreciated, but I am specifically interested in if people would value something like that? If so would you want a single base (hotel) or to stay somewhere new every night? Would you want to a the whole 'flash harry' thing going to all the best clubs, restaurants, see-an-be-seen type places or something more low key, or a bit of both? Would you want high speed roads or a more sedate pace?

I would love to do something like this myself, and I think I would enjoy organising it too - I am not out to make a massive profit on it either, just enough to cover the effort involved in getting sorted.

Anyway, like I say it is just an idea smile Your thoughts would be appreciated. Also would be inteerested in the cars you drive if you were interested to get an idea of the sort of cars would come to something like this.

Cheers

Travis
