Swimtrek

Has anybody got any experience of Swimtrek or similar outfits that offer open water swimming holidays as I fancy doing something different this year?

Not been myself, but I know a number of people who have (members of my swimming club).

Latest one went to Croatia - loved it and is now thinking of one to the Red Sea next year. If you are ok swimming 4k a day for a week and are confident swimming in open water, they sound pretty good.

It was a toss up between this and the Maldives, the Maldives won yesterday but from what I've heard the Greece or Red sea trip will be on my agenda for next year

My mum did the special Lord Byron 200 year anniversary Hellespont swim earlier in the year and really enjoyed it. Very well organised and lots of friendly people apparently.

Maybe you can do a few swims between the Maldives islands to warm up for next year
