Santa Ponsa next weekend....

The Mrs and I are off the Santa Ponsa for a cheap long weekend next Saturday, was stupidly cheap, so not expecting a lot, have seen mixed reviews ranging from brilliant to "don't go there!" anyone here been there?

I really like Santa Ponsa. It has a mix of nice and not so but where don't you get that. Some nice places to eat. Loads of nice walks. Great sunsets from the beach.

just had a call from the travel agents that organised this, they have put us on the wrong flight home, so instead of coming home on Tuesday, we come home on Wednesday... I realise that this is not going to be 5 star, but £81.00 for 4 nights and a flight...

Was just there for a week. Not my choice, but really enjoyed it. The quiet part of town (near the main taxi rank) was lovely. Nice enough places to eat, and there's a bar that is only the second place on Earth I have been served proper measures of B52 (half pints) at. The other was Koh Phi Phi. Before Leonardo spoiled it.

Cheers! Only problem now is the weather appears to have changed and the thunderstorms are arriving at about the same times as us.

ok.. we arrived... all is good, absolutely no complaints, appartment is fine, transfers were fine... the weather on the other hand... lets just say, the pool outside our balcony appears to have grown somewhat overnight...

Spectacualar electrical storm last night, but weather now fantastic..

Last time I stayed in Santa Ponsa there was a couple of mega storms at night, I still have the pics of lightning taken on time delay with an old SLR. Its common at this time of year, I think Oct is the wettest month out there.

we are staying at the Gran Santa Ponca Appartments.

Very nice, and planning on coming back next year.

Plenty of money and nice cars around too... Weisman today and and a Mclaren Slr yesterday
