Thanks, booked into the Bear. The others look good but were either fully booked or only take 2 night bookings at the weekend.

That is crazy as they have rooms free; I guess they would rather have an empty room for two nights than a paying guest for one...

I will book ahead and stay somewhere a bit smarter next time.

The Nant Ddu does fantastic food. Great location. Not stayed there though.

+1 for the food at Nant Ddu - rooms are a bit shabby & could do with updating though.
