My Dad's not well (at all) he's got Kidney Cancer and the prognosis ain't that great to be honest. One thing he absolutely loves doing is Fishing, particularly Barbel fishing (His personal record is an 11lb fish he caught on the Avon). Anyway to cut a long story short, although we're 3,000+ miles away we're going to be coming back quite frequently to spend time with him and mum.

What I'd like to do is find a hotel in Scotland that has Salmon Fishing (preferably with a guide who knows the best spots) and also it must have a Spa (for my wife and my Mum to enjoy).

Don't suppose anyone has any recommendations do they ?
As you can imagine - cost isn't important to be honest, but it has to be superb.

Thanks
Justin

http://www.crieffhydro.com/ Crieff is a nice wee town and quite central if you want to do a bit of sight-seeing.

The Salmon season is almost over for this year. Generally 15th October.
The River Tweed carries on longer.
