Silly me, it would appear that by agreeing we should take the kids away for a few days next week, it was obviously up to me to decide where to go, book it etc...!! rolleyesbanghead

So, living down south (near gatwick), I need to find a hotel somewhere within 150 miles where we can go and spend a few days next week with the two children.

Obviously, it has to be in the country, near the sea, with exciting things to do and yet quiet and perfect, so any suggestions meeting any one of those criteria would be fantastic!! Obviously, being PH, I'm not going to slum it!! hehe

The wife's suggestion to go to Kent didn't go down well (I lived there for 13 years and it's only an hour away!!) so it is clearly now my problem to solve!! rolleyes

Thankfully I have loads of time to organise as I'm at work and she has gone into town to do some "essential" shopping. furious

Rant over - can anyone help? bow

Cheers

Rob

Brilliant private hotel got its own cinema in the basement so great for kids just take your own dvds . Breakfast is an expearience too with honey on the comb our kids loved it and i still go back when I can.

Good dining in the town at Harveys Fishmarket or the Belgian cafe!

This place was a Victorian railway station, lovely area and they have secure storage for nice motors if you bring them.
