Bad idea at the start of January or a better idea end of May ?
Our little one will be two by then and it seems quite a pricey do later on in the year and the weather is not as bad from various sites on travel it will obviosly be a bit nippy but a good deal quieter and cheaper to stay at the hotels we were thinking of 2days one night stay and driving using the Euro Star . Is it cheapest via Disney themselves or are there any other places good for deals ?

Yes it will be less busy in january, but it can be flipping cold there at that time of year.I would go later in the year stay out of the school hols and it can still be reasonably priced
Also with one night stays you wont be there long unless you get a crossing very early on the way out and late on the way back, its about a 3 hour drive to calais
A better option would be a 2 night deal which gives you one whole day in the park and a more relaxed journey
From my experience they often close a few rides and things like pool complexes in the hotels may be shut in the off season

Hi there
we,ve been 4 times and are going back again
Always go at St Paddy's day (17 March)
Cracking deals on at present4 of us to thr New York 3 nights/4 days £512
Also if you can mannage, dont be there on a Fri or Sat as the entire population of Paris arrives and the queues just get silly.

We've been mid January, deal booked through a travel agent (3 nights for the price of 2, Eurostar etc.), was a great few days away. OK the weather wasn't the best but staying on a resort hotel our room was only a short bus ride/walk away for warmth and dry clothes. As for busyness, during our first coupe days the parks were quiet, only short queues, however, our break ended on a Friday where (even in mid Jan) the parks were very, very busy.
The Sun are doing a £9.50 deal this week if you are interested
