Folks,

I am scheduled to fly on BA9 on Sunday evening. This is a codeshare flight between BA & QA. Is there any way of checking whether it will be a BA or Quantas operated fliht though?

Mods, please leave this one in here for a few minutes.

So, you've flown with them and yet you still can't spell QANTAS?

Sorry, it's one of my pet hates!

Oh and the flight would normally be termed BA 09 rather than BA 9.

No it wouldn't! (BA0009 on BA's website and just BA 9 on all other worldwide booking systems...see below)

Yes it would. Please pray tell me what Concordes' flight number to New York was? Or what the current flight number between LCY and New York is.

Bear in mind that through 12 years of flying I've heard BA callsigns everyday.

QANTAS would call it QF9, but BA would call it BA 09.

Are you talking ATC callsigns? Concorde was BA 1 on departure/arrival boards IIRC. ATC callsign 'Speedbird'. No?

ATC callsigns would have been Speedbird 1, Speedbird 2, etc

Interesting (as otehr flights have taken over the 001, etc) you can track it as Flight 1, but not as flight 001:

It's in the air now...
