Ski schools Les Arcs

Any recommendations? Going to Les Arcs 2000 at New Year. Have done the googling, looking for some personal experience......

There's hundreds of ESF instructors in Les Arc 2000. They got my three year old on skis this year so they're alright by me.

Bit of a resurection but am after rough idea of prices for instruction at Les Arcs 1600.

Google tells me that ESF are the most competitive at 139 euro for 6x 2h45 sessions.

A friend who's trying to drag me out there with him tells me I'll pay less than that if I book at the resort, not sure I believe that to be honest.

So does the google price sound about right?

Arc Adventure are meant to be a lot better.
I know people who complained about ESF at Les Arc.

A bit of searching bears that out, thanks. I like the look of their lessons plus equipment package so will go with them I think.

My next question is am I likely to get a better price booking in advance or leaving it until I'm out there?

Normally its cheaper to buy online but...
My aunty has a flat at 1800 so is fairly clued up so will ask her when I get a chance.

Well son #1 is booked in with ESF next week so I'll let you know how he gets on.... We're in Arcs 2000.. booked through Esprit, so I think class sizes are limited. We pre-booked, but only to ensure that he will be going in a lesson and the broker that we booked through chopped a bit off the overall price.

At least the bds told me before I booked the flights etc.
