Hotel near Kings Cross

I am going out a week on Sat in Covent Garden, then getting a train in the morning from Kings Cross.

So I am looking for a reasonably priced hotel for me and the missus.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the vicinity?

Best price in the immediate area will be the Travelodge on Drury Lane.
Don't know how this fits with your needs, but if you're just looking for a bed and a base, it's perfect.
Pressumably, you're not looking for a pool, spa, fine dining etc?

I thought you wanted somewhere near Covent Garden. Why stay in Kings X, if you're going out in Cov Garden?
