Looking for something up to £500, 5-7 days. Nice weather preferred but I've seen some cheap flight and niceish hotel deals to Dubai and New York (both £650 ish if we go on Christmas Day). Either that or a ski break but thinking cost of passes and kit will bump that right up as bet they aren't included.
Went to Marrakech in July and loved it but there's no cheap flights going over Christmas which I find odd. Would recommend there to anyone.
Went to Dominican Republic at Easter and drove all round Europe in August. I really liked Munich but the OH will be too cold I think.

Algarve, Tunisia and similar are VERY cheap...but will we be bored out of our minds? I don't think 16/17 degrees is that warm either.

Failing that we could just go to the airport on the day, anybody got a genuine good deal doing this or are those days gone?

Any advice welcome, had a rubbish day and trying to give us something to look forward to.

Investigate the Cape Verde Islands, I've had good reports from customers of mine. I think it's mainly Thomson All-Inclusive.

I'm looking for something very similar at the start of December. Somewhere hot for around £500-600 mark. Just had a look at Gambia but some PH opinions seemed pretty poor and it is not worth the risk.

Criteria are:
-Somewhere Warm/Hot
-Stuff to do (NOT beach holiday) although watersports are good
-Not USA, Dubai
-For around £500-600

Any ideas?

Sri Lanka? Good surfing this time of year and interesting though a little primitive in places. Cheap as chips once you are there
