Places to go for Hogmany?
Discussion
Trying to figure out what me and the O/H are going to do for Hogmany this year. I'd quite like to get away but unsure on where is actually worth visting at that time of year. £500-£600 as a rough budget but the cheaper the better. My first thoughts are get a decent hotel in Edinburgh and go to the castle for Hogmany. Any other recommendations?
Norton House Hotel, very traditional, just on the outskirts of the city, city centre on new years will be rammed, couple of years ago they cancelled the celebrations because of the weather
we have done the hotel thing on the actual night and done the city stuff in daylight, been a couple of times and had a great time, even went out and bought the kilt etc for new years eve dinner.
