Hello,

I'm going to Iceland soon and wanted to go on a tour that involved a bit of snowmobiling, or failing that, quad-biking. I'm having trouble getting travel insurance that will cover it, but won't cost me more than the trip itself.

Does anyone have any recommendations? One insurer classed snowmobiling as an extreme sport and therefore wouldn't touch it, yet jet-skiing and zorbing (!) were covered in their standard cover.

Cheers.

I seem to remember go travel insurance covered it, but that's from memory, i haven't checked. They even covered off piste skiing etc. which is more than most.

As with all insurance, read the small print (and be horrified!).

DownUnder.

Try dog tag, i do all kinds of dangerous stuff abroad and have an annual premium that covers me for all of it for £120. They do single trip cover as well.
