Me and the Mrs are going to Orlando in January and obviously want to do the usual parks; Disney, Sea World, Universal etc....
Now I have been about 16 years ago and I seem to remember my parents buying the tickets from the hotels or shops when we were there.
Is this the best idea or should we buy them in advance?

We usually get the flex ticket when we are there, sorts you out with unlimited access for 2 weeks for all major parks (non-disney).

Not sure about the disney side, would recommmend a look at Seaworlds Discovey Cove if its is your first time back for a while as its an amazing day out.

Google it on the net and buy in advance. We tend to but the packages to do 4 Disney Parks and the Universal parks plus a fan boat. The tickets generally allow an extra "free" day. We also add in Sea World. We have done Discovery Cove in the past but found it expensive for what it is and have done one of the water parks too.

Can't recall the site we used - parktickets or something but you pay and pick them up over there.

Some tickets let you go to more than one park in a day but honestly, who needs to.

This is the site we use:

From my visits I found it best to buy multi park tickets in the Uk in advance. Dont think there is a ticket that covers Disney and Universal parks. My favourite was the Discovery cove ticket, included 1 day admission to disc cove and a Dolphin swim plus 2 weeks unlimited admission to seaworld, aquatica and busch gardens. Two weeks starts from 1st admission and you have to book discovery cove as they limit numbers. You could also prepay the parking and get a deal. I used floridatix in the UK which was a keen price plus you got actual tickets not a voucher which saved faffing about. Loved aquatica too.

Thanks for the help guys.

Ive ordered 7 days Disney pass, 2 days Universal (including a ticket that gets us into Harry Potter bit an hour before the crowds with a breakfast) and 2 days Seaworld.

Got it through Virgin as that who the trip is booked with.
