To avoid name and shame let's call the operator ********* but it shouldn't be too hard to guess who that is should it.

Mod note: If you can guess who it is it's still N&S....

Now I fully understand that yesterdays strike caused confusion but I strongly suspect the tour operator had an accountant or lawyer involved in their decisions, our flight has been rescheduled 23 hours later, I wonder why especially as a lot on the flight had their insurance through ******* as well as their holiday.

We spent yesterday waiting in Birmingham airport while our tour operator one of the few who didn't have the balls and sense to just cancel all their flights to Spain managed to miss manage the situation to the point I'm unlikely to book with them again and people where more pissed off with them than striking Spanish airtraffic controllers. Twelve hours stuck in the airport getting our info from sky news as the airline rep sat behind her desk down stairs, the airline only had the two flights all day both going out to the canaries and she couldn't be arsed to talk to the customers. Then what we where told was contradicted on several occasions like they only had one plane in, well it was kind of them to let someone else paint their plane up in the ******** colours wasn't it, oh yeah and if that hadn't had a plane why did our bags have to be unloaded from a plane rather than just brought round?

So up again stupidly early for the second attempt to get away on our all inclusive holiday where so far we've spent out more on food and drink than the tour operator, if we get off today I intend to get my money's worth out of the free bar and food.

In summary the useless sods managed by doing the bare minimum to shift people from blaming the Spanish to being pissed off at the tour operator.
