Looking at the weather forecast for the nexy couple of days..... I have a flight in and out of London tomorrow but with the weather forecast as it is I'm thinking I better take an overnight bag just in case. Anyway I've never taken an overnight bag without checking it in before!

I would say its a grey area to be honest. The blade has to be fixed within the frame of the razor eg. a plastic disposable razor. This may explain why I saw some high end disposable razors in Heathrow earlier this year.
I'm sure some people have taken Mach 3's etc through but I think according to the letter of the law its a no.
I'm landing at Heathrow early Saturday morning, you've now got me very worried about cancelled flights and diversions!!!

Thanks for the replies I didn't bother taking it as I reckoned the worst case scenario was stuck for a day or two as I would have driven north otherwise.
Turned out we had a couple of hours delay then flew back to Edinburgh. The drive to Aberdeen was a different experience though.........
