Early April weather Temp Algarve ??
Discussion
Is it worth the risk looking for about 20c, enough to get about in shorts/T shirt in the daytime with a bit to do, pref no/much rain or way too much sun.
Canaries right sort of climate (probably out though been too many times, Tenerife
). 1 kid and 1 adult with slight medical issues so preferably not be in too much
sun/heat. Egypt waaaaay too hot when i went a couple of years ago
Where's best to risk Algarve/Turkey possibly Cyprus or Malta ?.
Budget around £1500-£2000 for a week or just over

Was in Portugal this April and picked a nice tan just pottering about for a few days, can be chilly in the evenings (jeans & sweat top), for the sort of money you want to spend you should do ok
Have fun

We (2 of us and 2 year old) were out there is Oct / Nov and warm enough for beach, says about 19 degrees here http://www.algarve-information.com/algarve/climate...
Nice place, quite easy to get by as English is widely spoken and not the "£1 a pint" culture of other places.
