Is there a 3G signal in Tignes?
Discussion
Hi,
Silly question, has anyone been to Tignes lately and noticed if there was a decent 3G signal for data? Most ski resorts I've been too are pretty naff and I end up with just GPRS/2G/whatever the old slow one is called!
Just wanted to check as I'm going to have to sort some Internet access when I'm there for work and I'm not sure if it's worth picking up 3G dongle or relying on whatever WiFi hotspots they've got in bars/cafes.
Cheers
Dave

The Alpaka Lodge is a great place to go for a drink (or several) and has free wifi. Watch out for the enormous dogs though

Depends which Tignes though.
Alpaka is in Le Lac, and i confirm the dog is rather large.
Also they do Pukka Pies for €5 each. Two of them for tea several days in a week before now.
