The OH and myself are looking to take a long weekend away in the south, at the end of next month.
I've been looking for various places to stay, but all seem to be around £800 which is a little steep for the sort of thing we are after.
We aren't after a top not castle with all the bells and whistles. Just somewhere thats nice, quiet, not full of kids etc.
The OH likes the idea of somewhere that she can do a bit of RnR, sauna etc. I'd prefer somewhere in the country, walks, passing horses...you get the idea.

Any ideas gents?

The South? It's not some little area, you may want to be a tad specific.

Failing that Bath? It's meant to be very nice.

Sorry, south of England.
On the Isle of Wight currently.
Would be staying Friday to Monday, last weekend of Feb.

Not to0 specific i know, but was hoping for something around Dorset, Somerset, Devon way.

End of half-term weekend - probably why it seems expensive.
