I need to get a car from the UK to Paphos in Cyprus. Is this possible without entering the country on the Turkish side? I've had a look around and all I can find are services from Greece which used to run but are no-longer.

I'm not too bothered about the route, but I am looking at trying to make it as economical as possible. Also I understand that freight journeys are available. Has anyone used these before or are they unreliable?

You need to find ferries to Limassol...definitely from Greece but also likely from Italy..

My BIL and his family live in Cyprus.
He's taken a few cars over, driving the first time and then shipping them over.

Driving was a pain. IIRC he went from Greece to Limassol.
Now he gets them shipped. £2,500 was for a Range Rover.

Any ideas where he sailed from in Greece? The generic searches throw up blanks, the closest I'm getting is information telling me that the ferry services were cancelled some years back.
It's looking likely the car will have to be shipped over. Current quote is about the same as the price that was paid to ship the Land Rover...

I know driving will be a PITA but it's only a one off so it's more than manageable.

Cheers for the link.

Price is good but the journey time isn't. I did see that site in the hope of finding something from Greece.
