Can anyone recommend a good insurance provider for adventure type holidays outside and inside of Europe? I'll probably be looking for an annual policy as i'll be away a few times this year either skiing, mountain biking or a bit of both.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi BT,

I've used this lot in the past, appear to cover a fair variety of adventurous activities

www.dogtag.co.uk

about £80 for a standard annual policy increasing as per the risks you add on.

DownUnder.

I've been with Dogtag for years "thankfully" never had to claim so can't claim on that one.

Also, if you plan on any single trips for more than one month you need extended cover (small print)

I use Insure and Go, you can add things that you particuarly want like winter sports cover, golf clubs etc. (no I dont own golf clubs)

But depending on what you are doing you may need to get extra cover. When I go climbing I get trip cover from the British Mountaineering Council.
