Ryanair at Stansted - how late can you leave rocking up?

[youngsyr]

I have to be up at the crack of dawn for a 6.30am flight from Stansted on Thursday and was wondering what time I need to get to the airport for?

I have checked in online, have no check-in luggage and priority boarding.

The boarding pass I have says the gate closes at 6am (30 minutes before scheduled departure). Flight is to Dublin.

Anyone care to guess how long will it take to clear security at that time in the morning and at what time the gate really closes?

How much would it matter if you missed the flight?

It would be inconvenient, but not the end of the world.
