Belated honeymoon - had to be cancelled last summer thanks to that fecking volcano irked

Supposed to be peak season out there at the moment but looking at the weather forecast there's altogether more thunderstorms than I was hoping for!

So, who's been? Is it as much of a tropical fantasy island as it looks?

NE monsoon is just hitting Singapore now (a bit south) so the thunderstorm period should be all but finished.

Should be OK.

I've been twice, once in July (peak wet season) and once in December (peak dry season). For me, the weather was vastly superior in July...

Which island are you going to? I've just booked my honeymoon to Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu although mine will be in the mniddle of July so not sure what to expect of the weather really. 95% of reports say it will be fine and then 5% that it is terrible, I'm sure I can live with those odds!
Have a great time smile

Yep, been twice and loved it. Depending on which island you're staying on, as I've heard a few are on the rough side, compared to others that is.

You'll love it.

We're going to Meeru. I've no idea how that shapes up againt the dozens of other islands in the area, but the brochures and reviews looked great.
