Hi folks

I've been given the task of best man for a mates wedding and to organise the stag do. We're looking at going abroad for a 3 day weekend and possible destinations are:

Tallinn
Riga
Vilnius
Paris (as its very close to us, though not sure how good for a stag do)???
Amsterdam.
Prague

1) We are all in our 30's so not looking for a "Club 18/30 esque Brits abroad Ibiza effort", ideally somewhere with some nice architecture/worth exploring to burn off the hangover.

2) heap...ish - ideally outside the Eurozone so our £ goes further in the 'mens clubs' & allowing the beer to flow ;0)

3) Must have plenty of top gentlemans clubs (as the boys going all have plenty of experience so I'm sure if I don't find them good (& fairly cheap ones) I'll have to put my flame suit on!

4) Finally if anyone has any recommendations for activities too, we've done the normal stuff before (paintballing/firing handguns/karting etc). One that appeals is Bobsleighing!

Thanks in advance.

Done them all over the years (on Rugby tours and Stags) and they're all pretty much the same.

Krakow on the other hand was a different league in every respect. Better entertainment, better beer, better activities.......better everything. At least have a look at it!

I was going to suggest Krakow too.
Gorgeous city, and cracking bars/clubs.

Don't go to Tallinn.

The authorities are keen to discourage stag tour tourism and groups of more than 5 or so blokes won't get in anywhere other than the scummiest bars.

It's also on a par with London in terms of the cost of eating and drinking.

At the risk of sounding mildly racist for the likes of a stag do you’d probably find Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius very similar. It probably comes down flight and hotel costs but as long as you avoid certain dodgy establishments you should find them relatively cheap. As said earlier you can bobsleigh from Riga, it was good but I recommend not doing it with a bad hangover.

Prague has plenty to see in the vague attempt to be mildly cultural, but it’s a stag do so don’t kid yourself that you won’t be either drunk or asleep. It will be hard to avoid the usual stags and tourist traps but I do like Prague. There are the usual gun firing, etc. activities in the surrounding area.

I don’t see Paris as a stag do destination but I suppose it could be. The major drawback would be cost as nothing in Paris seems to be cheap.

Amsterdam is possibly the most grown up choice as you can dip in and out of the dodgy and stag do side of things when you want. The rest of the time it’s a large city with plenty of other attractions. The Dutch are on the whole a pretty friendly bunch as well.

On the bright side my next stag do to attend is three days in Carlisle!!!

Talinn is rough as owt. Loads of rusky lads wanting a ruck/stty strip bars where you are leaned on to pay out for next to nothing/stronger than normal preconception that english=aholes.

My vote is Riga, went there last year and it awesome. So many incredible women you will think you are in a dream; loads and loads of bars, strip bars where the women will gladly strip off and then beat the stag up (she had him up against the wall by his throat!), preconception that english are interesting and well-off. Also hot in the Summer, generally a very attractive place, decent cheap hotels (radisson blu was £30 a night). I am deff going back, just need to find an excuse now that most of the lads are wed!
