Hotel/restaurant for anniversary - 2 hours radius of Cambs

I'm after a nice but not too expensive hotel for my 2nd anniversary, having just moved house money is a tad tight so max budget including dinner of £400 for the night. Ideally the hotel will have the decent restaurant within but happy to travel out if need be, we've done Cambridge loads of times and it's only 20 minutes from home. London is out as we went last year.
The type of hotel we like is small to medium, fusion of old with modern, decent sized rooms and ideally a pool, jaccuzzi, sauna area.
Any ideas/recommendations?

Have you thought about the Bedford Lodge in Newmarket - Nice hotel and facilities including pool etc and restaurant.

We have done it a few times and it is always very pleasant

No pool our sauna but nice small hotel with great rooms and fabulous food.
