Anyone on here been to Taba Heights resort?
Discussion
Am planning a holiday for some time later this year (am fairly flexible about dates) and would normally try and incorporate some sightseeing, some activities (golf, horse riding, diving etc) and some genuine relaxing (i.e pool, spa etc)/
A quick overview suggests this resort might offer an attractive blend of the above, and the ability to consider activities in 4 different countries is potentially very appealing.
Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this place and could advise:
Which hotel to stay in
Which activities / trips to do
What time of year is best
How long a holiday is recommended
Any negatives about the place?
Any recomended agents who can offer a complete hholiday i,,e, flights. transfers plus accommodation, or is this easy to arrange yourself?
etc

Having just done a search on-line 14 nights including flights would come in at around £2.5k for the two of us, which seems excellent value, unless there are any fundamental issues??
I realise that all of the trips cost extra, so this could potentially add a fair amount to the overal bill, but normally we'd spent £2.5k per person for a week...
Are there any nicer 'equivalent' resorts?

If my memory serves me correct, Taba is quite far from Sharm el Shaikh. My brother went there recently and really enjoyed it. It is also quieter than some of the other places.
My wife and I went some years ago and stayed in Nabq Bay at the Raddison there and it was very pleasant indeed. We were about 25-30 minutes taxi ride away from the main hustle and bustle of Sharm. This worked better for us though...
Just make sure you have got the best deal, some people pay more for exactly the same holiday.
