Giverny, France - Home of Monet - Anyone been?

Looking to spend a day/night there on our way back from Le Mans. Anyone been and have any tips on where to stay and where to eat?

Can't help with where to stay etc, but we have visited and it's a nice few hours out.

We were heading to Rouen but decided to do Giverny instead, and was very pleased to do so.

Yep I've been. Very nice way to spend an hour or two, but can't help with hotel / restaurant recommendations as we stayed in Paris, but this may help: http://www.giverny.fr/

Have stayed here a few times on the way back from Le Mans. Restaurant and pool are both very welcoming after the filth at the circuit Nice enough to have taken the Wifebeast there for weekends too.

It's about 20 miles from Giverny.
