Hotels in Luxembourg City Centre/Old Town

Has anyone stayed in any they could recommend?

Need somewhere with safe parking and walkable to sights/bars/restaurants

Just seen this .... I know A lex used to live here, and I still do ...

There's a new Sofitel and Novotel in the town centre, not Kirchberg - where I work, which overlooks the town centre and the old fortifications. Both of those are easily walkable to the town centre and have underground parking.

'Le Royal' may be a 'Member of the Leading Hotels of the World', but having attended a function there last month, I wouldn't bother going again. It's hugely overdue a revamp.
