Car hire in the Med

Any recommendations for good value hire companies? (i.e. price, customer service, quality of cars)

The Med you say?... that narrows it down a bit them

Anyway, I used Hasso in Mallorca last year for a change and found them v cheap and excellent service plus no queing chaos in Palma airport, minibus picks you up and takes you to their offices in Can Pastilla. Have used Centauro previously but as above queing at their office in the airpory can be chaotic if a number of flights have just arrived.

Autoreisen are cheap in the Canaries so may be worth a look. Have used www.carjet.com too.

I can never understand why whatever plane you get off, you're always at the counter with the queue while there are several other hire counters all deserted!
