Riga - stag do - things to do.

Got to organise my mate's stag do now for March. Booked flights and hotel to head over to Riga (12 of us going), bit cliche'd but it'll be fun (hopefully).

Anyone got any suggestions of good bars/clubs and good activities to do during the day?

That's a fairly good summary

You can also do the usual - paintball; karting.

And I would also suggest you do the bobsleigh if it's still open (think it closes around March). It starts off quite gentle but gets quite sphincter puckering towards the end. But almost guaranteed you'll want another go when it's done.

tbh, I found Riga pretty grim on the whole...

Bob-sleigh's great - definitely do that. We went and shot some guns too, which was ok but not amazing. Riga's a bit of a hole though and there's not a great deal to do other than get pissed and watch strippers. Some of the bars are pretty damn dodgy too - have a search on the internet for places to avoid, and avoid them.

An absolute st hole full of the most unsmiling, uncivil and unhappy people.Only place I`ve been to where the what`s on guide lists places NOT to visit.Two of our guys were drugged and robbed beware being invited into clubs.And this is from a group of guys who go away every year to all the obvious places las vegas,prague,marbella etc and have a good time
