Some suggestions please

Hello people of the PistonHeads Lounge! I need some inspiration from you all.

I would like to take Mrs Wizard away for a couple of days, specifically 21st Feb - 27th Feb. ( number of days can vary, minimum of three days away I think...)

I am based in Folkestone, and have easy access to Eurotunnel and ferries to France. Equally I have a 1/.5 hr trip to Gatwick/Heathrow.

Budget is £800-£1000

Mrs Wizard likes:

Art, Design, Nice food, comfortable surroundings (especially bathroom facilities), shopping, and culturally important cafe's bars, restaurants etcetera etcetera.

I Like, driving, countryside, walking, small town shopping, pub lunches, open fires, sex, food, and shooting.
Should I........

A: Drive down to Italy/southern France? (Shopping/driving country bar/hotels)
B: Go down to Cornwall, hire a cottage, champagne sex and shopping? (UK economy, magnificent views, shopping???)
C: Book a weekend in Venice? (Do ‘able on 1k budget all in???)
D: Euro star to Paris? (I hate the French and Paris is full of beggars, shopping.)
E: Go to Prague/Amsterdam and hit the sex clubs and go crazy with the missis. (She’s not averse.....)
D: Save the money and splash out on a 2.5k holiday in the summer.
F: Some other suggestions of wicked days away.......

Nice hotel in Lille?

French city-ish, not as big/dirty as Paris, good drive down there, etc etc etc.

Personally quite like Paris, much better than the hole capital we have.
