Visiting Stockholm in March - Any tips?
Discussion
Hi guys,
A few friends and I are off to Stockholm on the 18th March for a long weekend. The plan is a night out on the Friday, sight seeing on the Saturday and another night on the beer that evening, before flying home on the Sunday. We picked up the flights for a silly price (£28 return) but I hear it's very expensive once out there? As of yet we haven't booked accomodation, we will most likely be crashing in a hostel to keep the costs down - we don't plan on spending much time in the room.
Anyone got any tips on where to visit/what the nightlife is like/anything to watch out for?
Thanks in advance!
Dave

I've stayed at the Skeppsholem Hostel twice and its a nice place. Great views and breakfast. Night life I can't help with but you should do the Vasa museum (imagine the Mary Rose but 90% complete), and Skansen which is a zoo/living museum. Also look out for the changing of the guard at the palace (which is almost opposite the hostel) as its really impressive. There are several boat trips you can do one on a viking ship - which we didn't.
