Rather than doing a standard type holiday for our honeymoon me and my other half have been looking into taking some unpaid leave and travelling for aprox 3 months. If we can’t get this we’re likely to be able to swing about 6 weeks off work using leave.
We’ve seen quite allot of the world and the last place on our list to tick off before we think about starting a family is Australia and NZ. So just looking for general advice really on what is worth doing and avoiding and general costs. I have some family in Perth so we’d probably go stay with them for some of the time. If we have 3 months we’re likely to also do a tour of Thailand and try to get into China for some time too, if it’s going to be 6 weeks we’re more likely to use 5 weeks to see Aus and NZ with a stop over on the way out and back in Singapore, HK, Bangkok etc.
Any ideas/suggestion welcome.
