yay or nay?

going to be goin there to sleep for a few hours and thats all - one night.

I've found one in london seems pretty good - has good reviews from multiple users. just a lil wary with it being a shared dorm thing.

YHA or independent? The YHA hostels tend all to be of a decent standard. Independents can be more variable, some great, some not so much. However, I haven't stayed in a hostel for years so things may have changed.

I've been to several independent hostels in london recently to report crimes. I've not been to one that has cctv that works. Also sometimes they charge nearly as much for an 18 bed room compared to a budget hotel. Most of the indis have verge little secure storage as well. Dont know about the yha but i would be very careful
