Evening all

The other half and I are off to Prague next Sunday for 4 days. So far all we have planned is the opera (Madame Butterfly) on the Tuesday.

Anyone got any tips for decent things to do?

Looking for some nice restaurants/bars, ideally to get some local food/beer.

Cheers in advance...

The Charles Bridge was interesting as was the St. Vitus cathedral. The food had a heavy Russian influence.

We were there for four days in 2004, but left after two as we ran out of things we wanted to do. Drove back into Germany and discovered Rothenburg, one of our favorite places ever.

I've eaten here. Food's good and for novelty value it's pretty entertaining

Just along the road is this restaurant, which was also good. http://www.laryfary.cz/#/en/home

The castle is well worth a walk around, you can go round the grounds with out actually having to pay to go in.

The sex museum is worth a visit if only for the 19th(?) century porn films they show - some of the first porn ever made

Food's pretty good, and you get stunning views across the city.
