TSB Travel Insurance - Platinum Cover

Just booked to go to Cuba.
Been advised that any USA backed insurance is invalid.
I get it included with my TSB account.
No policy document, which is required and i can't find anything excluding Cuba on the online details.
Before embarking on a 2 hour phone call to 'Dave' in Mumbai anybody know if this is US backed?
AXA UK are the policy suppliers.
