Where to go for a HOT holiday in May?
Discussion
I am looking at buggering off for 10 days on holiday in May. I want nothing from this holiday other than to lay on a beach / around a nice pool and soak up some sunshine.
I have looked and have been advised that Egypt would be good - if it wasn't descending into civil war.
Where can I go for 30+ degree weather middle to end of May? The budget is not too much of an issue, within reason.

no catch mate, we have been 3 times, and took friends who also liked it,
i would imagine that if you are on your own it will be boring, there is a block of apartments there they would put you in that i expect, but we have always been in the little villas that are dotted around, its not a big place, and unusually its qiute near the main town drag, (15 min walk)
we wil be goin to the new one a little later hopefully.
have alook at the tripadvisor ratings,

its a 90 min journey from the airport with a turkish rally driver, and you can get a bit fed up with the limited drinks and food but the complex is superb.

if you go on sunwings website in may then 5* click on their speicals offers page, there is all inclusive called palm wings for 2 weeks for £379
its so s
t i have been 3 times.
All booked up for the first 2 weeks in May unfortunatly. Just gave them a call, probably booked up by Phers haha.its so s
t i have been 3 times.its a great hotel, the only downsides are
the disco is dead, because its not ai drinks in there,
bar shuts at 11pm, (just head into town)
the price of food at bodrum airport, i think it was 11 euros for a slice of pizza, and the prices are in euro not turkish lira.
its absolutley astronomical i think it was a fiver for a can of pop.
so make some bread rolls at the buffet the day you leave,
we were talking about it last night, the missus and the kids would go back for afourth time.
there are plenty of sunbeds and they also supply you with towels as well
anyone wants info just pm me
