Morocco (Marrakech, specifically)

Hi all,

I've not been on a holiday in 3 years, and the last time I left the UK was probably about 2005. (I'm 22 now)

An old friend from college is turning 22 soon, and is renting a villa in Marrakech for a week in June, and sent an open invitation to anyone who wants to come.

I want to go, considering the villa itself will cost me nothing and return tickets are only £100 apparently.

But I've never been to Morocco, and know nothing about it. I'm pretty excited, but what can you tell me about it. Any helpful tourist advice; what to do, where to see, what to avoid/look out for etc?

Been out to Morocco for past 3 years, but all driving my own vehicle. Marakesh- umm very interesting place, find a good guide for the souk and spend a couple of days there.

Toher than that- the High Atlas are beutiful, but annoying in equal measure.
